BIOGRAPHY
Tansy Alexander began her hosting and interviewing career after her move to the exciting Los Angeles area over a decade ago.
Her portfolio of experiences include modelling, voice-overs, live event announcing, hosting, interviewing, commercials, acting and playing guitar and signing backup on a pop band.
Tansy's hosting experience began while a production assistant at United Artist Cable, and expanded into being a long-term host and co-host on both Hawthorne and Torrance CitiCable, which serves the large greater South Bay Area in Los Angeles. She hosted cooking shows, community event shows and went into the field frequently to cover local events. These included art openings, parades, competetions, red-carpet events and more.
Subsequently, Tansy secured a coveted spot at LA press junkets interviewing blockbuster movie principals, writers and directors on almost a weekly basis for over 2 years. Her interviewees included Jim Carey, Ryan Philippe, Ron Howard, Danny DeVito, Sharon Stone, Nick Nolte and Stephen Baldwin, just to name a few.
After taking a brief sebattical, Tansy has returned to the hosting scene to co-host some local shows like Burnt Toast and Coffee and ShootinIt.
She is a very knowledgable and gregarious host, interviewer and adventurer. Without fear, she can gain access to most anyone and anything. Her outgoing and charismatic style makes her a good match for this very people-oriented business!
